FMD is engaged in three areas of memory development that cater to the low density and embedded memory market.
Our patented UltraEE™ EEPROM technology delivers the best price performance low density memory in the industry, enabling us to compete favorably against industrial giants such as ATMEL, ST Micros and Samsung. In a couple of years we have captured a substantial share of the EEPROM market. We expect growth to exceed 70% per year for the next three years and will become the dominant EEPROM supplier in the near future. We now have standard memory products from 2k to 512kbit densities, as well as other ASIC memory products.
We have successfully developed a purely logic based One-Time-Programmable (OTP) memory IP. This IP enables the incorporation of low density memory with standard logic ICs without any additional process steps. It has been proven at the 0.18 μm node at UMC and TSMC. We will mitigate this technology down to 0.13μm, 90nm and 70nm in the near future. Please contact us for licensing information.
